It's Tuesday.

This is the second week that I've been in NY for the summer for my internship. In the city that never sleeps, of course I have experienced many things already that I am not used to. For example, really good food. Specifically, healthy and vegan food. And going off of the sleep thing, I went to my first club on Saturday and stayed out until 5am. Yup, 5. I watched the sun rise from Dunkin' Donuts while feasting on an egg and cheese english muffin.

I've done some classic things like ride a bike through central park, saw Aladdin on Broadway, and ate a bagel. But today, was a day. And it was a day enough to make me want to hashtag blog about it.

Lemme start with the coolest news I've heard in a while. Somebody mentioned at work that people were seeing Gigi Hadid on the elevator the past couple of days. It's because she's an influencer for Tommy Hilfiger, who's office is in our building. But today I heard that Hilfiger (don't know how to spell or pronounce it tbh) was having a sample sale! I didn't know what a sample sale was exactly but I grabbed my wallet and headed to that thing as fast as I could. I wasn't expecting to buy anything because I figured it would be hella expensive. But I checked out the list on the wall that said all the prices and everything was basically $5-$25 so I got very excited. I found a jacket I liked, and for $15 I just went for it.

Today was also exciting because some guy who works at my agency wrote and directed a movie that just came out this week in theaters. Only a few interns ended up going to see it, but it was awesome. We got to hang out before at a happy hour with the director and main actor, Jim something, who is apparently in Parks n Rec. All my friends hate me because I met him and had no clue who he was. Then we went to the movie and it was pretty f'ed up but definitely worth the watch. Talk about dark humor! Anyway it's called Middle Man, it's gonna be on Netflix apparently.

So yeah this is more for my own memory, but hopefully I will continue to blog some exciting things that happen here in the big App.
